The Colonel William Byrd Chapter proudly announces a New Oak Leaf pin which they now
have available for sale! The pin is recommended for use on the sash. Although the pin is not an official insignia, there are
no other restrictions on the wearing of the pin.
An encircled design was chosen to represent the fact that the Daughters of the American
Colonists are unified not only in spirit, but in love. As the mature leaves nuture the mighty oak itself, the new oak trees
of tomorrow are represented by the acorns which securely hold the young seeds in their bosom.
Because it was designed by Pamela Wright Collections, it may be worn with the small magnetic fastener that accompanies
most pins from Pamela Wright Collections. The beauty of the magnetic fastener is that it prevents damage to delicate
fabrics such as silk and satin.
The cost of the pin is $25.00.
