June 6 - Chapter meeting will be held at the Library of Virginia in Richmond. Members should plan to arrive at the Library of Virginia by 8:55 A.M.  Please prepare for this meeting by bring information concerning your lineage or an ancestor that you have wanted to file a supplemental application for as this will be the perfect time to document that particular line. You may bring a guest with you. Due to lack the of a staff member on this particular Saturday morning, our tour has been cancelled; however, there will be helpful individuals to aid you in your research so please come and take advantage of this opportunity to learn to research in one of the major depositories in the United States. Parking is in a secured area beneath the Library. You will be given a ticket when you pull into this area. You are asked to have this ticket stamped when you leave the library and you then present it to the guard at the garage exit when you leave. There is a small cafeteria on site called "Sweetpeas" where you can purchase soups, salads and sandwiches if you choose to do so.
